President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the G20 summit in the Argentine capital on September 29, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said.

"Trump will hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the summit and will also have a working dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping," she told a news conference at the White House. "In addition to meetings with the Japanese prime minister and the German chancellor.

US Secretary of State for National Security John Bolton said that Trump and Putin would discuss bilateral relations and  security concerns , arms control and regional issues, including the crisis in Middle East.

The G20 summit will be held in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires on December 30 to December 1, with the attendance of Crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohamed Bin Salman, president Abdul Fattah Alsisi and other world's leaders of the G20.
