US President Donald Trump cast his early vote in the US presidential elections scheduled for the third of November.

The US President went to a polling station in West Palm Beach, Florida, to cast his vote, in the elections being contested by Democrat Joseph Biden.

Trump joins this with the 55 million US citizens who cast their votes in early presidential elections, fearing crowds on polling day in light of the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

Trump changed his permanent residence and address in the voter register last year from New York to Florida, one of the states he must win to support his bid for a second term.

Just ten days before Election Day, about 55 million Americans cast their ballots in early elections, a number that could contribute to the highest voting rate in more than 100 years, according to US election project data.

The turnout for early voting indicates the great interest in the race, and also indicates the people's keenness to avoid the risk of contracting Covid-19 due to the crowding at polling stations on Election Day.

Many states have extended the period of in-person voting in early elections, as well as voting by mail before Election Day, to avoid risks in light of the Corona pandemic.
